ワールドカップ、ベンチ入りの人数

ワールドカップでは1998フランスからベンチに全員入れるようになっている・・というのが常識だったのだが、なぜかサンスポには18人と書いてある。

いつの間に変わったのか・・と調べたけどなかなかソースがない。

ここの大会レギュレーションを読む・・。英語でした(^^;。が、「23」で検索したらp.34に以下の記述有り。

23 players shall be included in the starting list for the match (11 selected players and 12 substitutes). Up to a maximum of three of the substitutes may take the place of the selected players at any time during the match.

つまり11人の選手+12人の選手。で、最高３人までいつでも試合中交代できる、とある。結論としては、やっぱり23人全員ベンチ入りできる、というのが正しいようです。
